Nations took another step toward completing their work on the international tax deal after nine countries signed a multilateral instrument, or treaty, meant to help developing countries raise more money from certain intercompany transactions.
Close to 60 countries, including the United States and Canada, attended a ceremony on Thursday hosted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development for the signing of the instrument that would amend tax treaties and apply the Subject to Tax Rule.
