House Ways and Means Committee Chair Richard Neal (D-Mass.) said Friday that Democrats would be interested in raising tax rates on high-income taxpayers and corporations if they retain control of the House in the midterm elections.
“I do think that there’s a chance here to address some fundamental tax-reform issues,” Neal told reporters.
