New York Extends Orange County’s Additional Sales Tax Through 2027

The New York Governor signed a law extending Orange County’s authority to impose an additional sales and compensating use tax rate of three-quarters of one percent above the standard three percent rate through Nov. 30, 2027. The law takes effect immediately. [S. 7630, enacted 08/07/25]
