New Jersey residents enrolled in the state’s medicinal cannabis program won’t have to pay sales tax on products bought at permitted dispensaries.
- The latest tax relief measure, which took effect on July 1, is part of a 2019 law signed by Gov. Phil Murphy (D) that provided residents with a three-phase elimination of the sales tax on cannabis and related products purchased at the permitted facilities.
