North Macedonia Tax Agency Announces Temporary Reduction in VAT Rate for Fuel

The North Macedonian Public Revenue Office March 23 announced a temporary reduction to 10 percent, from 18 percent, in the VAT rate for fuel, from March 24 to April 6. The announcement also includes that all taxpayers who sell motor fuels and lubricants in specialized shops must adjust their accounting systems, pricing, and invoicing in order to correctly calculate and record the preferential VAT rate.
