Norway Moves to Adopt New Tax Reporting for Platforms, Crypto

Norway is moving to implement new tax reporting rules for digital platforms and actors in the crypto space, under a proposal approved Friday by the government.

Digital platforms would be required to collect and verify information on those offering housing, transport or personal services, and to report it to the tax authorities, under the proposal.

Actors offering exchange or storage services for crypto assets would also be required to report to the tax authorities.
