NY Court Boots Suit Over Taxes for Fired Exec’s Golden Parachute

A former DXC Technology Co. executive didn’t prove he provided enough facts to support his claim for a tax refund of his severance payment, a New York court ruled.

Judge Brian M. Cogan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York dismissed a case brought by Stephen Hilton, who was seeking a $1.7 million tax refund he said was unfairly held from him as a part of his settlement agreement with the IT company.
