The US is suing the estate of a deceased taxpayer who failed to pay taxes from winnings made from a “Win for Life” scratch-off game.
The US Department of Justice filed suit on Thursday against the estate of Gary Owens in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida over a $1.4 million tax bill from a lottery prize.
