OECD Appoints New Head of Info Exchange, Transparency Forum

Maria José Garde from Spain has been appointed the new Head of Secretariat of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes at the OECD, the organization said Friday.

Garde brings over 25 years of experience in international taxation, having served in various leadership roles including Chair of the Global Forum from 2017 to 2022 and Director General of Taxation at the Spanish Ministry of Finance since 2018.
