Technical concerns about a global tax treaty detailing how multinational companies’ residual profits will be reallocated are expected to be resolved by the fall, a top OECD official said Tuesday.
Manal Corwin, director of the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration, said concerns over withholding taxes and other technical issues were being sorted out between the OECD Secretariat and delegates from the Inclusive Framework—a group of countries that are part of the global tax pact negotiations.
