The OECD expects “a much more constructive approach” from the Biden administration on negotiating a global tax overhaul, the organization’s tax head said Tuesday.
“Based on the information we have, particularly the hearing of Janet Yellen in the Senate, is that the U.S. wants to have a constructive approach on both pillars,” or pieces of the global organization’s planned tax overhaul, said Pascal Saint-Amans, director of the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration.
