OECD Eyes Creating Broader Advance Tax Agreement Mechanism

An Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development group will explore developing a broader mechanism to help deliver businesses preapproved tax certainty.

The OECD Forum on Tax Administration’s MAP Forum agreed to consider creating a mechanism similar to advance pricing agreements, but widening its scope beyond transfer pricing, David Rüll, policy officer for transfer pricing, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution at the German Federal Ministry of Finance, said Friday.
