OECD Global Tax Pact Lobbying Ramps Up Among Corporate Giants

The ranks of companies like Amgen Inc., Pfizer Inc. and heavy hitter trade groups lobbying on the OECD- brokered global tax deal more than doubled between 2019 and 2023, a sign of growing business interest in the pact’s potential impact on their bottom lines.

Lobbying disclosure reports mentioning the OECD or the deal’s two pillars jumped more than 128% from about 35 in 2019 to 80 in 2023, according to a Bloomberg Tax analysis.
