The Ohio Supreme Court won’t send Akron’s case seeking a public property exemption for its business incubator back to the tax agency despite a joint request by the parties, suggesting that the court wants to hear the case.
Akron, the state tax commissioner, and the city board of education, filed a joint motion to remand the case after they “amicably resolved” the issue. The high court rejected the motion in an order filed Tuesday.
