Voters in four Ohio municipalities and five school districts approved local income tax increases May 6, unofficial results showed.
Tax rate changes in municipalities included:
- Alexandria, in Licking County, to 1.5% from 1%, effective July 1, 2025.
- Avon, in Lorain County, to 1.95% from 1.75%, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
- DeGraff, in Logan County, to 1.75% from 1%, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
- North Canton, in Stark County, to 2% from 1.5%, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
