Petrobras Working to Solve Pending Tax Issues, CEO Says

Petrobras CEO Jean Paul Prates ordered a general clean-up of the company’s pending tax issues, he told journalists on Wednesday.

• “We ordered a general clean-up of everything that is pending, of what is in the form of court-tied money, which is not making money for anyone,” said Prates after a ceremony in the Senate
• “The logic is: look for the authorities where there are disputes, questions, arbitrations, negotiations and let’s take a step to resolve what is no longer so disputed, and then keep only what is really difficult to resolve”
