Phase-In of EU Energy Tax Hikes Pushed Back in Revised Bill

The dates for phased increases in energy tax rates were pushed back further in the latest version of a bill that is meant to revise the way the EU taxes fuel and electricity.

The amended bill delays the second phase of scheduled increases on motor fuel, heating fuel, and electricity by one year to 2034, according to a document dated Oct. 27 and seen by Bloomberg.
