Poland Lower House Considers Bill on Crypto-Asset Market Regulations

The Polish lower house of parliament (Sejm) Dec. 9, 2025, accepted for consideration Bill No. 2363, to amend the anti-money laundering and terrorist financing provisions in accordance with Regulation 2023/1114/EU. The bill includes measures to: 1) specify the obligations for specified crypto-asset issuers and crypto-asset service providers, including information reporting requirements; 2) authorize the Financial Supervision Authority to suspend or prohibit public offerings of crypto-assets, and impose sanctions on crypto-asset issuers and service providers; 3) impose criminal liability and fines for fraudulently issuing crypto-assets or providing crypto-asset services, or otherwise violating the relevant regulations; 4) specify the scope of sensitive ...
