Poland to Analyze Tax-Free Income Hike If Proposed by Nawrocki

The Polish Finance Ministry is still working on a plan to increase tax-free income, which was one of the election pledges by the ruling Civic Platform party, Minister Andrzej Domanski says in an interview with TVP Info.

  • Doubling the personal income tax allowance would cost 52b-56b zloty, therefore caution is needed to implement such a measure, Domanski says
  • Government is open to analyzing proposal to increase tax-free income if submitted by incoming President Karol Nawrocki
