Portugal Gazettes Ordinance Amending List of Jurisdictions With Favorable Tax Regimes

The Portugal Official Gazette Sept. 5 published Ordinance No. 292/2025/1, amending the list of jurisdictions with favorable tax regimes. The ordinance includes a measure removing Hong Kong, Liechtenstein, and Uruguay from the list of countries, territories, or regions with clearly more favorable tax regimes. The ordinance enters into force Sept. 6, 2025, and takes effect Jan. 1, 2026. [Portugal, Official Gazette, 09/05/25]
