Psychic Faces Penalties for Not Reporting $1.5M in Cash Deposits

A psychic, son of the late TV psychic Sylvia Browne, failed to report $1.5 million in cash deposits and is liable for penalties, the Tax Court ruled July 25.

Christopher Michael Dufresne worked as a psychic counselor for his mother’s business, Sylvia Browne Corp., and performed psychic readings as often as seven days a week. He became the sole heir of Browne’s estate and the corporation after her death in 2013. The corporation was dissolved in 2015.
