PwC Australia’s Government Contract Bidding Ban Lifted

Australia lifted its ban on Pricewaterhouse Coopers bidding for government contracts after a leak of confidential information triggered sweeping changes for the firm.

Changes to the firm’s governance and culture meant it could re-engage with the government, although it will remain under review until June 2027, the finance department said Thursday.

“Culturally, PwC Australia has acknowledged the shortcomings of its previous growth-driven environment and taken steps to address them,” it said in a report.
