Former IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig on Tuesday joined the board of directors at K1x, a digital K-1 packet production platform.
The K1x software automates Schedule K-1s to streamline returns for taxpayers.
Rettig, who was nominated for commissioner by former President Donald Trump, served in the agency role from 2018 to 2022. During his tenure, Rettig administered Covid-19 relief programs and expanded outreach to underserved communities.
Prior to the appointment, Rettig was an attorney at the tax litigation law firm Hochman, Salkin, Rettig, Toscher & Perez.
