Rhode Island Church Sues US for Return of IRS-Levied Funds

A Catholic church in New England is seeking a return of property seized by the IRS in a pair of levy notices, claiming that they were wrongful.

Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Cranston, R.I., filed suit at the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Aug. 11, seeking the court to weigh in on two IRS levies.
