Rick Scott Contests Booz Allen’s Argument Tax Leak Suit Was Late

US Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) urged a federal district court to reject Booz Allen Hamilton’s bid to dismiss his lawsuit over the leak of his confidential tax-return information, arguing the firm’s defense doesn’t address that its own shortcomings enabled the breach.

Booz Allen contractor Charles Littlejohn leaked Scott’s confidential tax documents, among those of numerous other wealthy and powerful people, to the New York Times and ProPublica, who reported on them in November 2021.
