Russia May Amend Tax Treaties With Switzerland, Hong Kong

Russia may propose to Switzerland and Hong Kong to amend bilateral tax treaties, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk says during televised government meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

  • Russia also held talks with Malta and Luxembourg, who responded positively to proposals to amend double-tax avoidance pacts
  • Russia waits for a response from the Netherlands, analyzes all agreements with foreign partners on double-tax avoidance treaties
  • NOTE: Earlier on this week, Russia, Cyprus Agree to Raise Dividend, Interest Tax to 15%
