Senate Clears Domestic Spending Package, Sending It to Trump

The U.S. Senate passes a package of domestic spending bills, the first of two appropriations bills that would fully fund the government through the fiscal year and avert any partial shutdown.

  • Vote on amended H.R. 1865 is 71-23; action sends the legislation to Trump for his signature
