Christopher J. Armstrong joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its public policy and regulation practice group in Washington, the firm said in a Jan. 23 statement.
- Armstrong was the Senate Finance Committee’s general counsel and chief oversight counsel from August 2017 until the start of 2019 and played a key role in the 2017 tax overhaul, the firm said
- Armstrong has also served as the House Ways and Means Committee’s oversight counsel and Senate Finance’s investigative counsel, the statement said
