Taxpayer service improvements, electronic resources, and compliance in the sharing economy are among the concerns tax professionals plan to raise at a July 26 Senate subcommittee hearing.
Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Mark Warner (D-Va.), chairman and ranking minority member, respectively, of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Taxation and IRS Oversight, intend the hearing to focus on improving tax administration.
