Singapore Parliament Passes Bill on GST Hike: CNA

Singapore lawmakers passed a bill to raise the city-state’s goods and services tax by 1 percentage point to 8%, effective Jan. 1, 2023, state broadcaster Channel News Asia reportedMonday.

  • Tax will be further raised to 9% from Jan. 1, 2024
