Skadden Adds Patrick O’Gara as Tax Controversy Head in London

Patrick O’Gara joined Skadden as a partner in its tax group in London, the firm announced Tuesday.

O’Gara will lead the firm’s tax controversy group. He advises on strategic tax matters relating to intellectual property, cross-border financing, transfer pricing, and supply chain restructuring, as well as mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, the firm said.

He defends multinational clients in high-stakes audits and disputes involving HM Revenue & Customs and other tax authorities and is an adviser across the financial services, digital services and technology, consumer goods, health-care, and pharmaceuticals sectors.
