The Slovenian Financial Administration Sept. 30 issued a guidance on the financial services tax. The guidance includes that: 1) taxpayers who provide financial services subject to taxation must electronically file financial services tax returns by the last working day of the month following the end of each tax period in which the reporting obligation arose; and 2) fines with various ranges will be imposed for failures to file by the deadline or to file electronically, depending on the type of taxpayer.
