South Africa Gazettes Notice Extending Pillar 2 Filing Deadlines for Notices, GloBE Information Returns

The South African Official Gazette Oct. 28 published Notice No. 6763, extending filing deadlines related to Pillar Two, for the fiscal year commencing on or after Jan. 1, 2024, but before Jan. 1, 2025. The notice includes extensions to: 1) April 30, 2026, for submitting the notice of the designated local entity, designated filing entity, or ultimate parent entity to file a Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) Information Return (GIR); and 2) June 30, 2026, for submitting the GIR.
