Spain Doesn’t Plan Tax Hikes Amid Uncertainty, Minister Says

The Spanish government has no plans to raise taxes at this moment given the global uncertainty triggered by the war in Ukraine, Budget Minister Maria Jesus Montero says in statement.

  • Montero received list of measures for a fiscal reform from group of experts. Montero says recommendations not binding and government to decide on fiscal measures by taking into consideration economic reality
