Staffing Firm Sues For $11 Million Employee Retention Credit

A rental car company staffing agency says the IRS wrongly failed to process $10.8 million in employee retention credits it says it’s owed for continuing to operate during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Atlanta-based EDS Service Solutions LLC, which provides on-site labor teams to rental car companies and has 100 offices in 32 states, sued the US claiming it’s entitled to the credits for two quarters of 2021 when the pandemic significantly impacted its business.
