State AGs Urge Congress to Amend CDA §230

Federal lawmakers must amend the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. §230, to restore state and local authorities’ ability to prosecute online services that promote child sex trafficking and prostitution, the National Association of Attorneys General urged in a July 24 letter to lawmakers on the Senate and House Committees on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and on Energy and Commerce.
