States Rush Toward Extended Income Tax Deadlines (1)

As of Friday, only a couple of holdouts remained among states resisting an extension of the individual income tax deadline in tandem with the IRS’ recent extension of the federal deadline to May 17.

Idaho was among the latest to conform, while Hawaii has indicated no plans for an extension. A couple of states have separately and for different reasons extended their corporate income tax deadline, which has not been changed on the federal side.
