State revenue collections remain strong, with 25 states expected to exceed their forecasts and 17 to at least meet them, according to a survey of legislative fiscal offices during December and January.
The National Conference of State Legislatures said Monday that state fiscal conditions have rebounded since the start of the pandemic, with many states reporting revenue surpluses and stronger economic recovery due in part to federal aid.
