Switzerland Plans ‘One-Stop Shop’ for OECD Minimum Tax

Switzerland plans to implement a 15% corporate tax on global multinationals entirely through their economically most relevant units.

The country is set to raise corporate taxes for corporations with an annual revenue of above 750 million euros ($809 million) as of Jan. 1. The minimum level OECD states agreed on still needs to pass a national vote in June, with the government urgingcitizens to back the measure to keep tax revenue in Switzerland — under the international deal, other countries could collect the difference if the Swiss refuse the levy.
