The top Republican tax writer in the Senate Wednesday pressed three US Tax Court candidates on how they’d handle challenges to regulations after the fall of the so-called Chevron doctrine.
Senate Finance Committee ranking member Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) pushed the trio on their philosophy for handling a bevy of potential regulatory challenges after a US Supreme Court decision tossed a legal doctrine empowering federal regulators to interpret unclear laws.
