Tax Court: Rest in Peace Judge Laro

U.S. Tax Court announces the passing of Tax Court Judge David Laro. Judge Laro authored more than 600 opinions on a myriad of tax issues during his time on the court, and he was well-respected by his fellow judges and practitioners who appeared before him. Appointed by George H.W. Bush on November 2, 1992, Judge Laro continued working until his death on September 21, 2018. [U.S. Tax Court Press Release (Sept. 25, 2018)]
