Tax-Related Fraud Claims Against Morgan Lewis Wrongly Dismissed

The reasons a trial court gave for dismissing allegations that law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP assisted with an accounting firm’s fraud “do not survive scrutiny,” a Florida appeals court ruled.

The Friday decision from the District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District revived the claims brought by the Estate of A. Scott Logan against the law firm, after the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County dismissed them.
