Texas Urges State Justices to Skip Wind Farm Tax Break Suit

The Texas Supreme Court shouldn’t take up a challenge to a wind-farm’s multi-million dollar tax break because the plaintiffs lack standing, the state comptroller told the justices.

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Glenn Hegar isn’t the proper defendant, and because the plaintiffs can’t show their purported injury is caused by him, they don’t have standing, he said.
