The IRS announced Wednesday that it is done distributing economic impact payments of up to $1,400 a person, the third round of stimulus money sent out since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The agency, in a news release, said that as of the end of 2021, it had distributed more than 175 million payments totaling more than $400 billion as part of the third round. Some checks may still be in the mail, but the IRS said it is now done issuing payments.
