Turkey Tax Agency Updates Special Consumption Tax Rates for Various Fuel Products

The Turkish Revenue Administration June 2 updated the annex to Decision No. 10995, on the special consumption tax (SCT) rates for various fuel products. The updated table includes SCT rates of: 1) 5.1361 Turkish lira (US$0.11) per liter of 95 octane unleaded gasoline; 2) 5.8521 lira (US$0.13) per liter of 98 octane unleaded gasoline; 3) 2.0480 lira (US$0.045) per liter of diesel; and 4) 6.8130 lira (US$0.15) per kilogram of propane, butane, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
