The United Arab Emirates on Wednesday announced its adoption of both the OECD guidance and commentary on how to apply the global corporate minimum tax.
Ministerial decision 88 adopts guidance and the relevant commentary for the global minimum tax released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development up to January 2025, the UAE Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
The UAE published a decision to impose the global minimum tax rules in 2024, and the new levy took effect starting in January this year.
