UN Sees OECD Collaboration Opportunity in Dispute Resolution (1)

The UN and the OECD could work together to ensure tools that resolve and prevent disputes between companies and countries are trusted by both developed and developing countries, a representative from the UN said Tuesday.

Dispute resolution and prevention tools shouldn’t be too costly, and any pool of tax experts assisting countries in these activities should include enough experts from developing countries, Michael Lennard, chief of tax cooperation and trade in the financing for development office at the UN said.
