The IRS wants to permanently bar a Texas man from preparing taxes given what it calls a long history of abuse.
The United States filed suit in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas against Jarvis Tezeno Sr. of Houston, seeking to permanently enjoin him from acting as a federal tax return preparer and related activities. It says he has caused close to $4 million in tax loses from 2020 to 2023.
