Vexed Judge Denies Eaton Corp.'s Fight to Redact Worker Reviews

Eaton Corp. can’t disturb a district court decision compelling it to turn over some employee performance reviews as part of a tax audit.

Judge James S. Gwin denied the company’s motion to amend a judgment from last month that required the disclosures of the performance reviews of Irish employees as a part of an IRS audit.

The company asked the court for a line-by-line redaction for any material not relevant to the IRS audit, but Gwin said that wasn’t necessary as none of the information appears to be damaging or contains sensitive information.
