Vietnam Gazettes Resolution Setting Environmental Protection Tax Rates for 2025

The Vietnamese Official Gazette Jan. 11 published Resolution No. 60/2024/UBTVQH15, on the environmental protection tax (EPT) rates for gasoline and other fuels, oil, and grease, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. The resolution includes tax rates of: 1) 2,000 Vietnamese dong (US$0.08) per liter for gasoline, excluding ethanol; 2) 1,000 dong (US$0.04) per liter for aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, and lubricant; 3) 1,000 dong per kilogram for grease; and 4) 600 dong (US$0.02) per liter for kerosene.
